The Ang Thong National Park encounters intense gusts of air during the months of November and December, therefore it is not open during this period. From February to October, the ocean waters are peaceful and the weather is scorching, making it the perfect time to visit the park. It is advisable to avoid visiting the park in January as it tends to be overcrowded.
How to Reach Mu Ko Ang Thong National Park
You have the option to book a tour through various boat companies operating from Koh Samui, Koh Phangan, and Koh Tao. The park’s entrance is regulated by park rangers, and the cost of entry for non-Thai visitors is INR 662/- per person. You can reach the park either by ferry or by renting a speedboat that accommodates up to 30 people, although the latter option is faster but slightly more expensive.
