Continue reading as Abhilash and Yogesh travel eastward to Thailand in search of an entertaining week of excitement and adventure. As the proverb says, a close companion is more affordable than therapy! Their journey amounted to a total of INR 63,500, which covered their airfare, lodging, transportation, tourist activities, and meals.
My trustworthy comrade Yogesh and I desired a vacation beyond the borders of India where we could unwind and not fret about the details and logistics of our trip. Given our financial limitations and preferences, Thailand turned out to be the ideal choice.
I stumbled upon Fred and Fuzzys on the internet while searching for package tours to Thailand. I appreciated the option of customizing the vacation package to meet one’s specific requirements. The convenience of having access to multiple packages on a single platform provided me with a great opportunity to find a competitive price for my journey to Thailand.
I submitted an inquiry on the Fred and Fuzzys mobile app and immediately received a call from a travel representative. She grasped my specifications and connected me with various agents who presented different offers for Thailand. Ultimately, I selected the best package provided by ‘Sabkiyatra’.
After completing all the necessary procedures, both of us were prepared to embark on our journey and immerse ourselves in the distinctive and captivating culture of Thailand.
Day 1: Experiencing the enchantment of Alcazar
Following a nighttime flight from Mumbai, we finally landed in Bangkok at 4 am. Upon our arrival, the taxi driver awaited us to transport us to Pattaya. Riding through the southern regions of Thailand on a pleasant sunny morning brought us a sense of comfort.
Three hours later, with weary bodies but eager minds, we arrived in Pattaya and checked into our hotel. After lunch, we decided to explore the city of Pattaya. Before long, we found ourselves at Jomtien beach.
The moment we reached Jomtien, we realized what a huge party place Pattaya was. The location was perfect with its ivory sand beaches surrounded by flashy hotels and yachts docked all around the beach.
In the evening, we visited the enchanting Alcazar dance show. The grandest and most renowned cabaret show in Thailand certainly lived up to its expectations. The glamorous performance amazed the audience throughout the show. Afterwards, we returned to the hotel and rested for the night.
Day 2: Fast-paced voyage to Coral Island
The next morning, we had breakfast and prepared for a day of sightseeing and relaxation. The driver dropped us at the Jomtien beach from where we took a speedboat to Coral Island.
It was a to ride in a speedboat at a very high speed. The ride felt like one from an action movie as the boat hit the water hard and all around us. As we arrived at Coral Island, I took a deep breath as I absorbed the natural beauty that surrounded me. We went for a swim in the water and relaxed on the ivory sand beach with some food.
After spending a pleasant time at Coral Island, we raced back to Pattaya in the same stylish manner as James Bond around 4 pm. For dinner we enjoyed some scrumptious Pad Thai, after which we returned to the hotel for the night.
Day 3: Traveling back to Bangkok
We woke up a little later than planned, which resulted in us missing our shuttle to Bangkok at 8 am. We checked out of the hotel and took a taxi. Upon arriving in Bangkok we adjusted our itinerary as we had already missed a portion of the city tour.
We checked into the hotel and proceeded to explore the city on our own. The hotel was a 10-minute stroll to the Pratunam market where we decided to do some shopping.
As the sun set on yet another splendid day in Thailand, we went out to indulge in the lively nightlife of Bangkok. After enjoying some delectable street food and beverages at a pub, we returned to the hotel for the night.
Day 4: Tigers, Zebras, and Joyful Dolphins
Our fourth day was set aside for a trip to Safari World. A massive attraction for nature enthusiasts, which houses the entire range of the animal kingdom including a aquatic park for underwater creatures.
First, we visited Safari Park where we embarked on a one-hour long safari. In the safari, we encountered lions, horses, elks, and tall-necked animals. After that, we had lunch, which was included in our package. Later, we had the opportunity to see the Aquatic Park where we witnessed the elegantly choreographed dolphin and seal performances. We left Safari World at 4 pm and made our way back to the hotel.
The final few hours before going to sleep, we spent trying out seafood- one of the activities to do in Bangkok and purchasing some mementos.
Day 5: Returning to India by air
We had a flight at 4.30 in the morning, so we arranged for a drop off to the airport at 2 am.
With this, our amazing trip to Thailand came to a fulfilling conclusion. A fantastic opportunity seized by my friend and me to visit the gem of Southeast Asia. Witnessing such incredible beaches and immersing ourselves in a lively community certainly brightened our perspective on traveling in Asia.
- Coral Island is one of the most exquisite places I’ve ever visited.
- The bus tour we missed on the third day.
