The finest travel plans are the ones made spontaneously. So, when the two of us unexpectedly decided to embark on a journey to Thailand, and it turned out to be the greatest travel decision of our lives! And even though there were only 15 days at hand to make all the arrangements, we still managed to pull it off, all thanks to Fred and Fuzzys.
Fred and Fuzzys connected us to different travel agents and we finally closed the deal with Classic Trips before proceeding with our flight bookings. Kavita from Classic Trips as well as Vaishali from Fred and Fuzzys had assisted us in every step, prior to and after the completion of the trip.

DAY 0: The flight journey from Jaipur to Bangkok
We had opted for an overnight flight so that we could arrive early in the morning and spend the day exploring. During the flight, we savored two chilled cans of the renowned Thai Singha beer, which turned out to be quite astonishing! We reached well in time at the Don Mueang Airport which, according to our research, happens to be situated right next to the Chatuchak Market in Bangkok.
NOTE: Don’t forget to complete the immigration form that you will receive on the flight, as it will be required during the visa on arrival process.

When you arrive at Don Muang Airport, the initial task one must complete (even before retrieving their baggage) is finishing their visa on arrival procedures.

Kui Buri National Park: A Mini Guide To This Nature’s Paradise In Thailand
At last, our Thailand bachelor trip commenced! After acquiring our visa, we boarded our connecting flight to Krabi, which arrived at our destination before we even settled into our seats! Upon exiting the airport, we were welcomed by our guide-driver who transported us to our resort in a spacious private van. Upon arrival at the resort, we received a refreshing cranberry juice before being escorted to a luxurious room overlooking the elegant swimming pool and breathtaking limestone cliffs in the distance.
Cost of flight for 2 people (Bangkok to Krabi): INR 7600
Hotel in Krabi: Andaman Pearl Resort | 3-star
Hotel USP: A convenient shuttle service to Ao Nang Beach every 2 hours
- Ao Nang Beach | 1.1 km from the hotel
- Railay Beach | 2.2 km from the hotel

NOTE: Purchase souvenirs in Bangkok instead of Krabi as they tend to be much cheaper in Bangkok.
Post a invigorating swim in the resort’s pool, we took a brief nap in our room before venturing out to the Ao Nang Beach with the assistance of the shuttle service provided by the resort. The beach appeared absolutely stunning in the evening, with the water transforming into emerald green under the setting sun.
For supper, we dined at the finest Indian restaurant in the vicinity – Noori India, where we indulged ourselves with some delectable Kadai Paneer and Tandoori Roti. After a scrumptious feast at this extraordinary restaurant, we arrived at the Chang Bar near the Ao Nang Beach for a few shots of Tequila and then decided to explore the Night Market before returning to our resort.

DAY 2 | Krabi: Discovering the islands near Krabi
After a delightful buffet breakfast, we boarded the shuttle at 8 AM for our Four Island Tour. After making the necessary payment of THB 400 to the operator, we boarded our speed boat and embarked on a journey to explore these enchanting islands in the company of many other travelers from various parts of the world. Etched into our memories forever, the views were absolutely awe-inspiring!
The highlight of this beach is the limestone cliffs that make it one of the most gorgeous beaches in Thailand. This place was one of the highlights of our Thailand stag trip. Travelers adore swimming in the turquoise blue water beneath these very caves and witnessing the magnificent sunset and sunrise. We also visited the Phra Nang Cave renowned for its peculiar legend, before returning to the boat.
Chicken Island is simply a gathering of some peculiarly shaped cliffs located in the midst of the sea that can easily be observed from the speed boat itself. It is the ideal spot for snorkeling near Krabi, and we were captivated to witness creatures like zebrafish, sea urchins, octopus, and a plethora of vibrant corals. The tranquility and peace of this part of the world left us astonished!
The Tup Island beach is renowned for its crystal-clear turquoise water (up to 20 meters), which makes it perfect for snorkeling. The various hues of the sea here are a spectacle to behold! We could easily observe numerous fish from the boat itself!
It is the type of paradise that we typically only encounter on postcards or desktop wallpapers. It rendered us speechless! After a satisfactory Thai lunch provided by our boat operators, we went snorkeling, which once again proved to be an extraordinary experience due to the wide array of marine creatures we had the opportunity to see! Back on the boat, the operator treated us to fresh pineapples and watermelons before accompanying us back to the jetty.
After resting at the hotel for a while, we ventured out to explore the nightlife in Krabi and found ourselves back at Chang Bar for some tequila, Leo Beer, and live music. It was at this moment that we realized that approximately THB 3000 and $100 were absent from our bag, which we had left on the boat while we were engrossed in snorkeling. Although we returned to the hotel feeling disheartened, we were grateful that we had divided our money into two bags and still had enough to enjoy the remainder of the trip without any difficulties!
Tips For Taking The Four Island Tour In Krabi
- Do not choose the Thavanoor Boat service.
- Do not carry more than THB 400, which is the amount you need to pay to the boat operator. There are high chances of theft on these tours.
- Do not carry your passport or any other travel documents on this tour.
- Carry only a small bag containing your swimming gear, sunscreen, towel, and dry clothes.
- Snorkeling is included in the 400 Baht that you will initially pay to your boat operator. You don’t have to pay extra for it.
- The snorkeling equipment will also be provided by the boat operator at no additional cost.

DAY 3: Krabi to Phi Phi Island
We packed our luggage and proceeded to check out so that we could head to our next destination – Phi Phi Islands. After witnessing the hotel staff amusingly attempting to retrieve my sunglasses from the swimming pool, we finally managed to complete our check-out procedure and board our shuttle at 8:30 AM. We boarded our ferry well in advance and it brought us to our destination in just 1.5 hours, where the weather was much more enjoyable than that of Krabi and a traditional Thai boat sent by the Bay View Resort was waiting for us.
After a seamless check-in, we had a bowl of instant noodles in our room while enjoying the magnificent views of the bay and the crystal clear ocean from our verandah. Later, we went sunbathing in the resort’s exclusive beach, had Chang Beer, and tried another session of snorkeling. Then, we went to a different beach – the Loh Dalum Bay, which turned out to be an excellent choice. In the evening, we headed to Carlito’s Bar to witness a mesmerizing Fire Show before returning to our hotel to rest.

DAY 4: Phi Phi Islands to Phuket
We indulged in some fresh breakfast, bid farewell to the secluded boundaries of the Bay View Resort in Phi Phi, and returned to the Tonsai Pier to catch a ferry for our next destination – Phuket. After facing a terrifying storm, our ferry finally reached the Rassada Pier in Phuket where our driver was waiting to accompany us to our hotel – The Ashlee Plaza Patong. When we had finally managed to persuade the hotel staff to allow us to check-in an hour earlier than the usual check-in time of 2 PM, we moved to our room and took a nice long rest.
Later in the day, we headed towards the Patong Beach where we simply sat on the beach to soak up the sun and appreciate the breathtaking views before us. Then we went to the Tantra Patong Indian Restaurant, the finest Indian restaurant in Phuket, and enjoyed a delectable lunch of Kadai Paneer & Tandoori Roti.
Our quest for an authentic Thai massage finally came to an end at Healthland Massage Patong. We had to wait in line for approximately 30 minutes, but the experience was completely worthwhile. For a cost of THB 250, we received an oil massage that helped alleviate the discomfort from sunburns, and their acupressure therapy provided a level of relaxation like never before. After an invigorating massage, we ventured onto the streets of Bangla, which is renowned for its numerous bars, massage parlors, and go-go bars that commence at 8:30 PM and conclude at 4 AM. We simply purchased some chocolates, lime vodka, and Chang Beer from the Family Mart before returning to the hotel.
In the evening, we revisited Bangla Street to immerse ourselves in its vibrant nightlife. Could our Thailand bachelor trip get any better? We decided to explore the Jungceylon Shopping Center for a bit of retail therapy, but unfortunately, we left disappointed as we couldn’t find anything worth purchasing. Instead, we leisurely wandered around the market area, enjoying a magic show, observing street dance performances, and immersing ourselves in local life. At 1 AM, we satisfied our hunger pangs at another Indian restaurant before heading back to the hotel to sleep.

DAY 5 | Phuket: Heading home!
We roused ourselves at 5 AM to ensure we caught our flight on time. We boarded the hotel shuttle (costing THB 60 per person) to reach the airport. Thanks to the helpful hotel staff and the excellent arrangements by Kavita from Classic Trips, we had a generous breakfast to savor during the journey!
Once we landed at Bangkok’s airport, we stored our bags in the clock room, exited the premises, and took a shuttle to the Chatuchak Market. Covering an area of 5 km, this market offers a wide array of fashion wear, street food, gadgets, and handicrafts at reasonable prices if you buy in bulk and engage in savvy bargaining. Before catching the shuttle back to the airport at 4 PM, we purchased dresses for the ladies back home, casual wear for ourselves, and a unique rechargeable Korean fan. We also indulged in fresh kiwis and shakes. After acquiring some whiskey and vodka from the duty-free shops at the airport, we bid farewell to this wonderful country with heavy hearts and boarded our flight.
Experience With Fred and Fuzzys: We express our gratitude to Kavita from Classic Trips and Vaishali Thakur from Fred and Fuzzys for their unwavering support and guidance throughout the trip. I will always recommend Fred and Fuzzys to those seeking a fun-filled and hassle-free trip to Thailand.
