Hence, it was our initial day in a completely foreign nation for us, Thailand. As indicated by the itinerary, our pickup was arranged at the Phuket International Airport promptly. We made our way to our Hotel (Casa Del M), and even though we had checked in early, we were requested to wait in the waiting area/lounge. However, we opted to store our baggage and explore the nearby areas. At around 02:00 PM, we completed the check-in process at the hotel and after freshening up, we set off for Patong Beach, which was just a 15-minute stroll from our hotel. After a strenuous journey of 24 hours, it was incredibly refreshing to stroll along the shore. The beach was impeccably clean and the ambiance was immensely soothing. Some renowned fast-food chains such as McDonald’s, KFC, Pizza Company, and Burger King were also present. Furthermore, we were fortunate enough to witness the breathtaking sunset, which was sheer bliss!

Our second day was dedicated to the Phi Phi Island Tour. We made an upgrade from Ferry to Speed Boat and it turned out to be such a wise decision. We visited Phi Phi Leh Island, Viking Cave, Phi Phi Don Island, and Monkey Island which are the top destinations to explore on a Thailand tour. To challenge the adventure enthusiasts within us, we also participated in snorkeling, scuba diving, and other water activities. Wherever we went, the water was perfectly clear and we were completely mesmerized by the beauty of these islands. We also made friends with a couple and bonded so well with them, continuing to Pattaya together. Upon arriving at the hotel, we were all exhausted from the full day tour. Hence, we collectively decided to head to the rooftop restaurant and enjoy some beverages and snacks.

On the third day, we arrived at our hotel in Krabi and the welcoming staff greeted us with Hibiscus Juice, marking it as the best stay throughout the Thailand trip. We were thrilled to have the opportunity to navigate through the mangrove forest by boat. It turned out to be one of the unforgettable experiences to try during our romantic trip to Thailand.

We didn’t have much time to spend in Pattaya, but we wanted to make the most of it. So, we decided to attend the Alcazar Cabaret Show. We were warmly greeted with a refreshing beverage and directed to our seats. The show lasted for an hour and it showcased a unique fusion of different cultures. We were captivated by the stunning performances of the ladyboy artists. After thoroughly enjoying the visual spectacle, we proceeded to the renowned walking street. The moment we stepped onto the street, we could feel the enchantment of the place. The entire street was filled with clubs and establishments catering to adults. One of the highlights that caught our attention was the lively atmosphere, despite the absence of any festivals. Although our time in Pattaya was limited, we are extremely glad we made the most of it.

After having an amazing time in Pattaya, we made our way to Bangkok and embarked on a half-day tour. Here, we visited Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha) and Golden Buddha, officially known as Phra Phuttha Maha Suwana Patimakon. The latter is a solid gold statue of a seated Buddharupa in the Maravijaya Attitude, weighing 5.5 tonnes. It is housed in Wat Traimit temple and is internationally renowned. We felt truly grateful to catch a glimpse of the rich Thai culture. Afterwards, we proceeded to one of Bangkok’s famous markets – the “Indira Market”. The market offered a variety of attractive items, but we noticed that prices were inflated for tourists. Nevertheless, we were able to purchase some remarkably beautiful souvenirs at affordable prices.

One of the finest days of our entire amorous journey to Thailand, our 6th day was truly enjoyable. This day we explored The Safari World and Marine Park. We witnessed the astonishing Dolphin Exhibition, Elephant Exhibition, Sea Lion Exhibition, and Orang Utan Exhibition and also encountered numerous species of creatures and birds. One more bonus was the 20 minutes River Expedition which was quite exhilarating in its own right. Now we were escorted to the wilderness expedition where we were introduced to numerous untamed creatures in their inherent environment, and Marine Park residences. Additionally, at night, we went for the Chao Phraya River Voyage (a necessary add-on to the itinerary when visiting Bangkok).
