A Fred and Fuzzys representative promptly responded to my inquiry and comprehended the specifications for my trip. They connected me to various agents who furnished me with numerous offers for the itinerary I desired. I ultimately opted for the package presented to me by the ‘Youngistaan Travellers’ agency.

A well deserved respite from work, and an opportunity to indulge in some remarkable days with my spouse had me thrilled for our journey. The packing of our suitcases couldn’t have been done any earlier. We were eagerly anticipating flying out and reveling in Southeast Asia.

Day 1: Arrival in Singapore and a distinctive Night Safari

After embarking on an early morning flight from New Delhi, we reached Singapore at 9 am. After completing customs clearance, the chauffeur was present to welcome us and transport us to the hotel. We checked in at noon. Following a delightful lunch, we explored the hotel premises and amenities, and it was exceptional.

At 4:30pm, the chauffeur arrived to pick us up and take us to the Night Safari. Once the sky turned completely dark, the Night Safari commenced at 7.30 pm. It was captivating to witness all the untamed nocturnal creatures in their natural habitat. After the safari concluded at 10.30 pm, we were transported back to the hotel.

Day 2: Enchanting Sentosa Island

Exhausted from the flight and late evening safari yesterday, we arose a tad later than usual and indulged in a mid-morning feast at the hotel. At 2 pm, we set off for Sentosa Island through a cable car. Having experienced various modes of transportation in my life, a cable car was a new experience.

We paid a visit to the world famous Madame Tussauds Museum. Observing a substantial number of Indian public figures in the museum made us feel splendid. Following that, we witnessed the outstanding fireworks, melodies, and live performance named Wings of Time. My spouse and I were astounded by such a vibrant spectacle of illuminations, water, and melodies. After the performance, we returned back to Singapore at 9.30pm. After dinner, we returned to the hotel and called it a night.

Day 3: Unforgettable Excitement in Universal Studios

The most captivating day of our journey had arrived. Following breakfast, we proceeded to explore the finest amusement park I’ve ever encountered. I was genuinely eager to visit the Universal Studios in Singapore and partake in the exhilarating rides available there. As we entered and explored a bit, the park undoubtedly left me dazzled and surpassed my expectations.

My spouse and I experienced numerous rides and 4D presentations within the park. Some of my preferred rides were Battlestar Galactica, Far Far Away Castle, and The Mummy Returns. Also noteworthy were the remarkable 4D presentations of The Lost Word and Madagascar.

We departed the Universal Studios at 7 pm and returned to the hotel incredibly excited about the amazing day we had. Later, we had dinner and decided to call it a night.

Day 4: Free time at Marina Bay

A day dedicated to doing nothing but relaxing. I enjoy having such days during a trip where I can go at my own pace and not follow a schedule. After all, that’s what a vacation is all about.

After having lunch at the hotel, we walked to the Marina Bay to witness the evening live performance. Later, at 8 pm, we decided to try our luck in a James Bond style by visiting the Casino Royale. Obviously, we didn’t leave as millionaires James Bond style, but the experience for the day was definitely worth it.

Day 5: Cruising in the Oriental Heartland

The following morning, we checked out of Singapore to begin the second part of our trip. Along with our luggage, we embarked on a half-day Singapore City Tour. During the tour, we visited all the major highlights in the city such as Chinatown, India Town, Singapore Flyer, and Gardens by the Bay.

The tour concluded at 2 pm, after which we were directly transferred to the cruise. We boarded the cruise and it set sail at 6 pm. The cruise was energetic and filled with young people from all around the world.

Day 6: Cruise party and a touch of magic

It felt like we woke up and everything was the same. The only difference was that the sun was shining. The people on our cruise were in a serious party mood and showed no signs of stopping. The fellow passengers we met on the cruise were friendly and welcoming.

In the afternoon, the cruise showcased a performance called Queen of the Earth. This was followed by a magic show that completely amazed the audience with its impressive illusion tricks and skilled presentation. We ended the night on the cruise with a Bollywood Disco night. It was enjoyable to hang out and party with many Indians in Singapore.

Day 7: De-board and Malaysia bound

Following our meal in the morning, we checked out of the fabulous celebration cruise at 12 noon. We made our way back and disembarked at the same harbor where we originally embarked on the cruise journey from. After disembarking, we were immediately transferred to the airport from where we were supposed to fly to Malaysia.

We boarded a flight from Changi International Airport and arrived in Kuala Lumpur at 6 pm. Upon our arrival, the driver was present to transport us to the hotel as we checked-in at 8 pm. After enjoying a light dinner, we decided to rest for the night.

Day 8: Genting Island and Batu Caves

We woke up early in the morning and got ready for the sightseeing. First off, we experienced the variety in culture in Malaysia by seeking blessings at the Hindu temple at the Batu Caves.

Batu Caves is a historic pilgrimage site along the way to Genting Island. From Batu Caves, we rode the cable car once again to Genting Highlands. Almost like an oasis in a desert, the next destination we visited in Genting was a marvel if we think about it.

Snow World is an indoor ski and winter-themed park. Who would’ve imagined that we would be fortunate enough to witness snow in Malaysia during the rainy season? After having fun building snowmen and throwing snowballs at each other in -4 degrees Celsius, we returned to Kuala Lumpur. Upon reaching the hotel, we promptly went to sleep as we felt quite exhausted.

Day 9: Kuala Lumpur City Tour

On this day, we had a scheduled Kuala Lumpur city tour. We had breakfast and prepared ourselves for the tour at 9 am. The tour began with a visit to the iconic twin towers of Malaysia. As one of the most recognizable structures in Asia, it was a memorable experience to ascend to the top of the towers and traverse the bridge connecting them.

Day 10: To wrap up with a burst of fun

The following day, we were slated to visit the National Monument and National Museum. To conclude, we toured the Independence Square, which served as a great spot for taking photographs. The tour concluded at 2 pm, and in the evening, we went shopping at the central market in Kuala Lumpur.

Day 11: Bid farewell to an extraordinary adventure

Finally, the time came to return home and bid adieu to this marvelous place. We woke up late in the morning and focused on preparing our luggage for the 5 pm flight back home.
