Climate In Europe

May signifies the beginning of the summer season in Europe and presents a rather pleasant time for sightseeing and engaging in various activities. The average temperature during this period hovers around 23 degrees Celsius.

We truly relished the climate. It was absolutely marvelous! There was soothing precipitation one moment, and plenty of sunshine the next. We were also able to play in the snow as we had desired and enjoy refreshing breezy evenings. In the high-altitude regions like Mt Titlis and Jungfrau, the weather resembled the ideal winter climate of Switzerland!

1. Amsterdam Canal Cruise

We completely enjoyed the canal voyage on the evening of our arrival in Amsterdam. All you do here is simply observe the illuminated vibrant European houses and streets pass you by as you glide tranquilly over the water. But that also possesses a charm of its own. It’s an absolutely calming and serene activity and will provide you with stunning vistas of the city from a fantastic perspective. It’s a must-try for all those visiting this city, particularly the first-timers.

2. Amsterdam Hop-On Hop-Off City Bus Tour

This is a fantastic choice for those who prefer to explore at their own pace. With our HOHO Bus (or Boat Pass), we could hop on a bus (or boat) from the designated HOHO stops and tour the city leisurely and comfortably. The bus transported us to various attractions around the city Frank House Museum, Jewish Cultural Quarter, Artis Royal Zoo, Rijksmuseum, Stedelijk Museum, Madame Tussauds, and many more. We had the choice to conveniently disembark at any stop and hop on another bus from the same stop once we were finished with that specific attraction. This bus also has an audio guide for all the attractions it covers in 18 distinct languages. It’s the optimal method to tour this astounding city!

3. Eiffel Tower Tour In Paris

We were astounded by the exceptional vistas of Paris from the summit of this world-renowned tower. The entire city appears incredibly captivating from up here, and we could see for miles into the distance. We could admire the views of numerous attractions from the top, including the River Seine, the Medieval Notre Dame Cathedral, Montmartre District, the stunning Sacre Coeur Church, and some beautiful bridges in the distance. We also took numerous pictures of attractions with this colossal structure when we were at the base. We just couldn’t get enough of the exquisite Eiffel Tower.

4. Seine Sightseeing Cruise

This is another splendid cruise journey that we undertook, and adored every bit of it! The Seine Cruise transported us into the heart of Paris and allowed us to revel in the exceptional views of the bridges and monuments of this captivating city as it shimmered at night. Just like Amsterdam, Paris also comes to life at night and we had the finest views of all the activity from our luxurious seats on this immense cruise ship. Hotel Paris Louis Blanc – This is situated right in front of the subway station and the market, which was extremely helpful for us. Although the rooms were compact and not up to par, the hospitality was excellent and completely compensated for it!

Hotel Drei Könige Lucerne – Again, the location was ideal since the property is positioned near the train station. Despite the fact that the rooms were very petite, they provided us with breathtaking views of the city! The staff was very accommodating, but we believe they should be slightly flexible with their policies. The dining options were limited.

Apart-Hotel By Hilton Zurich – This property is conveniently located right next to the airport and the rooms are extremely pleasant. The staff was very accommodating and amicable. However, the food here isn’t up to par.

    Our Fred and Fuzzys Experience

Aside from a misunderstanding with the agent and some confusion during airport transfers upon departure, everything else went smoothly. We recommend that travel agents maintain constant communication with travelers, even for the smallest matters, and only take action after receiving approval from the traveler, especially when it pertains to confirming visa interview dates.
